Auf den Spuren der Geschichte des jüdischen Italiens _ Ferrara und Venedig (3)
Sunday, March 8 until Friday March 13, 2026 (6 days)
Virtually no one outside Italy knows the history of Italian Jews. Reason enough
to embark on a journey through Emilia-Romagna and the Veneto in search of traces! We start our journey in Lugano and travel south through Lombardy to Ferrara. Venice plays an important role in Jewish history. Already in late antiquity
we have sources about Jewish merchants in what was then Byzantine Venice.
